SEI.X12 is a Microsoft Dot Net
X12 Translation library that is used to
read and write X12 EDI data. It can be
used to read
- 837 Institutional and Professional
Claims,
- 997 Responses,
- 277 Claim Status,
- 835 Electronic Remittance Advise (also
called EOBs or Explanation of Benefits)
- 864 text message files.
The library can be used to write:
- 837 Institutional and Professional
Claims,
- 997 Responses,
- 276/277 Claim Status,
- 835 Electronic Remittance Advise (also
called EOBs or Explanation of Benefits)
- 864 text message files.
A client has a data stream (from files or a
database) and we build a custom X12 writer
application which reads the data necessary to
build the out bound X12 documents and makes them
ready for transport. We then create a
custom X12 reader (processor) which loads
the inbound message files and parses the data
for insertion into your existing database or
creates the proper import files for you.
Typical costs for implementing fully
automated X12 processing to your system are
$9,500 setup and $2,400 / month.
This includes full source code. Building each
transport requires a few days.
Due to the complexly of processing X12
medical claims, We typically implement this
library for our clients. If you are
interested in purchasing a source code license
the code is VB.NET (2.0). The package
contains the library, a sample X12 processor and
writer and a SQL (2005) database to hold,
process the data.
